Coaches

We are looking for motivated, inspirational coaches to work with underdeveloped and/or up & coming youth athletes. This league will be primarily developmental in nature and while competition is encouraged, we desire to build the skills of all athletes involved. We ask that coaches come prepared to equip athletes with basketball skills while teaching life skills that go beyond the court.

Age Groups: Little (K-2nd grade <5-7yo>) & Young (3-5th grade <8-11yo>)

Rising Grade Levels (Rising 6th graders will be accepted.)

 

Dates to remember:

*Coaches Orientation - Sat. May 22nd (12-1pm)

Practice Days - Monday (K-2nd) 4:30-7:30pm & Wednesdays (3-5th) 4:30-7:30pm

Game Days - Friday (K-2nd) 4:30-7:30 & Saturday (3-5th) 4-7pm

All practices and games will be broken into two 1.5hr blocks to accomodate teams.

First Game - Fri. June 4 (K-2nd) & June 5 (3-5th)

Final Game - July 23 (K-2nd) & July 24 (3-5th)

ALL PLAYERS WILL BE EVALUATED FOR SKILL LEVEL AND TEAMS PICKED BY AN INTERNAL DRAFT. NO SELF-BUILT TEAMS WILL BE ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS

Background Checks Required

Do you have a criminal record?
Are you willing to submit to a background check?

  • By completing this registration, you agree to a full commitment of 9 weeks to serve as a coach for youth basketball.

  • You also agree that you will provide 2 weeks notice to the commissioner of any absence and to provide a replacement in case of absence. 

  • This is a volunteer opportunity and there is no compensation.
